In this project, I developed a hands-on dental training program for pre-dental students, and I found that the participants experienced increased confidence and felt more prepared for dentistry. This is supported by research indicating that virtual reality dental trainers significantly improve student performance in preclinical operative dentistry. My project addresses the crucial need for better preparation for the stressful transition to clinical practice by providing essential hands-on skills, as a lack of these skills can limit clinical performance in dentistry. Fortunately, pre-dental students generally hold a positive view towards the future of digital dentistry
